OOP (oil on paper) works are created alongside my larger encaustic pieces. Using paper, oil paint, and a touch of encaustic, they offer a space to explore color, transparency, and opacity on a smaller scale. There’s less deliberation here - more immediacy and intuition. What emerges in these studies often finds its way into the larger work.
